Spay/Neuter Clinic

Nearly 29,000 animals were euthanized in Hillsborough County in 2006. The suffering and sorrow associated with pet overpopulation is overwhelming. HSTB believes the most effective way to reduce pet overpopulation is to reduce the number of unwanted litters being born.

Our Spay/Neuter Clinic opened in Spring 2000. Through December 2007, more than 38,000 dogs and cats have been sterilized. Our goal is to offer high quality, high volume sterilizations at low cost. We are able to do this through the modest fees we charge and the generosity of the many HSTB donors who support this program.
