Community Outreach
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is very involved with Community Outreach and employs a Community Outreach Coordinator. We believe that providing information to the public and education to children on animal welfare is an essential part of our mission. We want to educate people to ensure the next generation understands the importance of caring for animals. It takes a community to make a difference. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is proud to be a part of this community.
Is your association or business looking for a speaker to give a presentation on animal welfare in the community? Do you want to discover what your group can do to help in our mission?
Do you have a group of adults or children who would like to have a guided tour of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and find out what we are doing for the animals of Hillsborough County?
Are you conducting a volunteer fair and need people to hand out information about HSTB and its volunteer opportunities?
Is there an Expo where we can provide information on humane treatment of animals and disaster preparedness for pets?
Is your school looking for someone to give a presentation about animal welfare and encourage children to get involved in their community?
Does your boy or girl scout troop need an inspiring project for their try it or patch?
If so, please contact our Outreach Coordinator at (813) 876-7138 or at Outreach Coordinator to make arrangements. Presentations can be geared to any length and age group. If allowed, we can bring an adorable adoptable pet who is certain to keep their attention.
