Bob Reina & TalkFusion showed up at the shelter on Thursday 11/5 with a U-Haul truck full of brand new Kuranda beds for all our dogs! WOW! Thank you Bob & TalkFusion! The dogs are still wagging their tails about that!

AMERIGROUP Community Care in Tampa, FL recently held a pet food drive with their employees and donated a large amount of dog and cat food to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Donations like this enable us to supply members of our community pet food when economic times make it impossible to buy food for their dog(s) and/or cat(s). We are lucky to receive donations like the one from the employees of AMERIGROUP. Our Mobile Adoption Center was there for only a few hours and as a result 3 animals found their very own forever home. One of which was Newton, a dog who was here more than three months waiting for his second chance at the great life. He was lucky enough to be adopted by a wonderful family as a result of being at AMERIGROUP. Thank you for all of your support, donations and adoptions!!!
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office employees held a pet food drive for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay to help replenish the dog and cat food supply for our Food Assistance Program. We are grateful to be the recipients of such a generous donation. The many bags of dog and cat food they delivered will enable individuals who are stuck in a financial bind to continue caring for their pets. Thank you to the employees of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for the support and compassion shown to the families and animals of our community. We would also like to thank Tampa City Councilman John Dingfelder for his continued support and for visiting the shelter during the delivery of the pet food. Click here to learn more. Honeywell employees recently held a pet food/supply drive at their facility. As a result they collected over 1000 lbs of dry dog/cat food, over 250 cans of pet food, 50 lbs of dog buscuits, 4 lbs of rabbit food, 3 bags of cat litter, numerous toys and chewy treats, and over $100 in cash! These donations were given to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and a local Pinellas County rescue group. Donations like this enable us to provide free pet food to individuals who cannot afford to feed their pets during these hard economic times. THANK YOU HONEYWELL!!!
