FERAL CAT SPAY MONDAY:  July 16th, $10 spay/neuter, distemper, rabies & ear notch.  No limits on number you can bring in. 

PETS IN THE PARK: July 18th, Lykes Gaslight Park, 11am - 2pm, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay & Hillsborough County Animal Services are teaming up to increase the save rate in Hillsborough County.  Come adopt your new best friend. 

HURRICANE SEASON IS HERE!  Don't forget to plan for your four-legged family! Make sure you have a crate or carrier for each pet, your pet's vaccinations are up to date, your pet is has identification including a microchip, collar and tags at all times, and you have an evacuation kit for each of your pets (including food, water, medication, cleaning supplies and comfort supplies such as fun treats and chew toys).  There are two pet friendly hurricane shelters in Hillsborough County.  Both are first-come, first serve.  Burnett Middle School at 1010 N Kingsway Road in Seffner and Sickles High School at 7950 Gunn Hwy in Tampa.  Remember public shelter have limited space to harbor your pet.  Some helpful websites to help locate other pet-friendly lodging are: www.petswelcome.com, www.petfriendlytravel.com, www.pets-allowed-hotels.com, and www.dogfriendly.com.
