The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is a non-proit organization with an IRS 501C(3) designation. Donations to the organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We do not receive any Federal or State tax dollars, assistance from United Way, or funding from the Humane Society of the United States. Our funding comes from donations, program fees, grants, special events, and bequests.

• Shelter dogs and cats until we can find forever homes for them
• Provide low cost spay and neuter servicesto the community
• Help alleviate the feral & free roaming cat overpopulation by Trap/Neuter/Return
• Supply high-quality food for pets of homebound and elderly residents on fixed income in the community through the Animeals program
• Provide education to the community regarding humane treatment of animals
• Counsel behavior problems to help keep animals in their homes
• Offer humane euthanasia to the public when necessary to relieve suffering
