Within weeks of being hired as an Adoption Counselor in 1994 Pam will tell you "she found her calling" and still feels that way today. She has been in several positions over the years and has enjoyed learning each department: Office Attendant, Animal Technician, Exam Room Supervisor, Shelter Supervisor and now Director of Shelter Operations. She serves on the No More Homeless Pets - HC Board and is a past board member of the Hillsborough County Animal Advisory Board. She has been married to her best friend Dave, since 1980 and they share their lives with 2 dogs and 1 cat (Tribble, Keiko & Jadzia) all adopted from HSTB. She enjoys riding with her husband on his Harley, forensic investigative shows, & gardening.
