Dr. Michael Guedron

Dr. Guedron was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.  Go Vols!!!  His varied career in veterinary medicine includes 10+ years in private practice (mostly companion animal and some equine), 10+ years as a Veterinary Medical Officer with the USDA enforcing two federal animal welfare laws (the "Animal Welfare Act" and the "Horse Protection Act"), and 1+ years practicing shelter medicine at the SPCA in Largo, FL before joining the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Dr. Guedron and his wife Melodie (a native Floridian) reside in Bradenton, FL.  They have a 20 year old son (Davis) and a 14 year old daughter (Kendall).  Their family also includes a mixed-breed dog names "Robbie" and a solid black cat named "Beijing" - both adopted.  In his spare time, Dr. Guedron enjoys volunteer work, reading, recreational sports, and cruising on his Harley Davidson.
