TAMPA, FL (July 2010) – The Humane Society of Tampa Bay and Mister HotShine announced their first annual Paws-a-thon fundraising campaign to help the Humane Society raise money through in store donations. Customers who donate will have the opportunity to purchase and write on a paper paw which then will be displayed on Mister’s car wash walls. Customers will then receive an exclusive offer of savings on their next car wash.

“We hope everyone will visit their local Mister HotShine locations during the month of July to help make a difference for animals in need,” says Sherry Silk, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. “We are grateful for the continued support of Mister HotShine and for being selected as the beneficiary of Paws-a-thon.”

“We wanted to create an event where our customers, car washes, lube centers and our corporate office here in Tucson could all join together and make a strong impact assisting the animal shelters within our communities. We plan to hold this fundraiser every year and look forward to a successful benefit starting with 2010,” says John Lai, Chief Operating Officer.
